Our Solution
What we do
Our organization is a non-profit that offers free AI education programs for K-12 students. Our programs include after-school sessions, summer camps, community events, and virtual hackathons, and are available nationwide. We believe that every student should have access to AI education, regardless of their financial situation, and that's why our programs are completely cost-free. We also provide peer-to-peer mentorships to help students develop their AI skills and achieve their goals.
Our method
At our organization, we believe that peer-to-peer learning is the most effective way to teach AI principles to students. We have found that many underrepresented students lack role models in the STEM field, which is why we pair younger students with experienced high school volunteers. Our volunteers are trained by us to ensure that students have the best possible learning experience, and we have found that peer mentorship is less intimidating and often leads to long-lasting friendships. Our programs are designed to be fun and engaging, with real-world projects that teach students about AI principles, applications, and limitations. The best part is that minimal programming is required! From Netflix’s recommendation algorithm to virtual chatbots, students are constantly exposed to AI-powered technologies and devices in their daily lives. We believe that by making AI education accessible and fun, we can inspire the next generation of AI leaders.
